Widisys launches a new version of their ultimate event management service machine, Wireless Event Manager. In addition to other new value features, WEM2.0 helps detecting actual No-show rates of the events, leaving no room for assumptions within event organizing process.

WEM2.0 evolves this practical self-service tool into a full solution for event organizers, who are fed up with maintaining participant information at various places, checking and updating multitude of spreadsheets to know even the tiniest piece of information. Each member's participation history is now behind a single click, and actual, real-life no-show information can be recorded per absent participant.

Setting up an event becomes faster due to amended self-provisioning functionality: an in-built html editor allows for creation and sending of brand-aligned invitations cost-effectively, via email. Using the editor, WEM users are also able to create and modify the web-registration pages on the run, selecting the information bits to be prompted from the participants easily from amongst pre-defined templates. And, to ensure the participant's awareness on their attendance status, registration and other acknowledgements can - in addition to the superior text messaging - now also be sent to the participant's e-mail address.

The WEM user interface has of course faced also other significant improvements: its overall logic has developed into more e-mail-like direction, contact database view has beed merged with group member view etc.
