Mr Matti Tammisalo has been appointed as Widisys' new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as of September the 1st, 2009. The earlier CEO, the company founder Matti Ärmänen will focus on technology issues as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the company.

Mr Tammisalo joined Widisys in March 2009, assuming responsibility for the sales function. Now his responsibilities are expanded into the area or running the whole company. States Mr Tammisalo: "I have experienced a promising small technology company growing into an international player. I just can't wait to be in charge with repeating that with Widisys".

Both Mattis are seemingly happy of the announced re-distribution of responsibilities. Says Mr Ärmänen: "As an entrepeneur and original founder of Widisys, my ambitions lie heavily on developing the technology behind our services. Having now a customer-oriented and experienced multi-talent Matti Tammisalo taking the lead in boosting our business allows me to focus on that."
