Fujitsu increases use of Employee Poll PDF Print E-mail

ImageFujitsu Services Ltd in Finland has amended the use of regular staff barometer service Employee Poll. Besides their Service Development unit, for whom a monthly poll has been run since January 2008, Employee Poll is now also being conducted for their Project & Application Deliveries unit.

The survey aims to equip the unit's management team with up-to-date information on the effects of the various HR development activities on the work place atmosphere. Due to the positive results of the monthly polls carried out by us, the management team has recognized Employee Poll service as a unique tool for improved dialogue with the employees. Already during earlier Employee Poll implementations at Fujitsu the superiors have thanked the method for immediate aid it has given for their coaching work, and the continuously high response rates have clearly shown that the employees see the survey actually impacting their leaders.

Confirms Ms Mari Kuha, HR Manager of the Project & Application Deliveries unit: "I am convinced this is the way to ensure we are doing the corrective actions correctly. This supports also our longer term development goals; empowering the unit's people while formulating the actual poll questions is an example of the Best Work Place program supporting actions we are taking".

Employee Poll is conducted and reported monthly on behalf of Fujitsu, guaranteeing the anonymity of a single response. The Management Team receives an up-to-date and reliable view on the work atmosphere.
